I was born in Tbilisi, Georgia in 1987. I’m student of third course in Georgian Academy of Arts. I work with several students from my course; we have taken part and done some projects together. In 2007 11th of December we organized exhibition “Untitled”, it was five students’ works including performance, installation, video and sculpture. In 2007, 7th November we took part in “Grand Opening” project, organized by curator Daniel Bauman. The last one we made was open lesson performance show, in 2008 15th of April. There were five performances different from each other by plural subjects. My work was remake of Oleg Kuliks performance, where he express dog, I expressed cat. This time I’m working on some remakes, I’m interested to refresh the most popular images and performances done in 20th century by the most famous artists, to make new views of that subjects and themes which are stated in well-known images. I think it’s important to refresh images which already become icons; they are icons of 20 century and aren’t as actual as was, but that themes don’t change, that themes, or pains are same, only reasons are different. That’s why I want to remake only subjects of most popular images.

Scream.
Scream is one of the most famous works of 20th century art, by Edvard Munch. I remake theme of this image, from my points of view this is scream for now. The person who screams for fear, for pain, for nothing, for bifurcation, for emptiness and only just to scream

Snow whites.
I use faces of man as faces of snow whites. Some of them are happy falling down on the earth, some of them is angry, some are irritated. From my childhood I believed snow whites have faces. They all have fillings and different mimics.

My wallpaper.
This work contains 38 different portraits and each of them repeats 100 times that finally make 3800. Poster is 4 meters height. My purpose was to make visual of mass from persons who are different from each other, but together they are just mass of people, mass of guys, space where individual’s doesn’t make sense.
